Thank you for your willingness to support CEAM’s families who are being hit especially hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For many of CEAM’s families, the fallout is hitting hard and fast.
In the last week, the CEAMteam has heard from dozens of families who share many of the same challenges.
Most of the families are concerned about meeting basic needs:
- Food for their families - weekly food budgets are significantly impacted by children being home full-time and often times at least one person in the home has lost his job.
- Families cannot find/afford personal and home sanitizing products, such as hand-sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and other virus-killing cleaners that are a part of the CDC guidelines.
- Rent/mortgage - families are afraid that they will lose their homes.
- Providing an education for their children - Families without internet access or appropriate technology fear for their children's educational future.
